Tea Cake Christmas Puddings

Food glorious food, especially when it's for Christmas! ♩ ♪ ♫ ♬

Gone are the days, as a kid, that I would plump up on food on Christmas day. Don't get me wrong, I do legendarily pack the food into my guts on the big day, but I also do this for the whole of December too :)

These are what I was scoffing my face with recently...

I love these replacements for the standard dated Christmas Pudding!

As easy as 1,2,3...

  1. Tea Cakes

  2. Normal white icing sugar

  3. Red and green icing sugar in tubes - to draw the holly on

Tips and Tricks

Icing sugar - Make this as thick as you can. When you think it is thick enough, add more icing sugar! I did one batch where the 'splash of snow' look, turned into a full snow ball...yummy though ;)

Shape - I ended up using a cocktail stick to manipulate the white icing. If you look carefully on the picture below, you can see where I started to reshape areas. After reshaping, you can then clean it up and make it as perfect as you'd like - bliss!

Enjoy!! :)
