Category Information

This is a little key, giving you more information about how we categorise workshops.

Difficulty

This indicates the average response to the workshop, by students/ customers we have taught.

Challenge - The majority of students struggle to pick this up at first. Take your time teaching, it is possible.

Medium - There may be some more challenging parts to this workshop, but overall students find it achievable.

Easy - This tends to be a workshop which people adapt to quickly.

Cost

This indicates the level of spend to run this workshop. We tend not to include tools and equipment which you are likely to have (scissors, rulers etc.) but we would indicate  a higher cost if you would need to invest more to run this.

Low cost - On average, this would cost us under £6 per person to run.

Medium cost - On average, this would cost more than £6 per person to run, but less than £15.

High cost - This workshop would cost us more than £15 per person to run.

We only list workshops if we feel they are good value for money to run. The higher the demand for a workshop/skill, the more we would pay for the supply costs because we are more likely to sell workshop tickets or get attendees to our sessions.

Length

This is a guide, and allows for a casual workshop. If you are new to a workshop, or your group is over 10 people, we suggest allowing more time.

Repeatable - This indicates that a workshop could be repeated by a student/customer. Some workshops are not seen as repeatable, because you are unable to change the style or design.

Perfect Pop-Up - These workshops are great for market stalls, arts and craft events or open days. They tend to be easy to transport, quick to learn, low cost and eye catching for many audiences.

Hen Party / Baby Shower - These workshops can be easily adapted for themed events, or would be popular for parties. Click on the workshop for tips and tricks for adapting the workshop.
